I'm happy with this replacement. Not sure what we did with the original that caused it to tarnish like a metal part might. I ordered this part based on appearance, didn't know my toilet model, and the down rods were too short. Fortunately, they unscrew for adjustment and I was able to use my existing ones.

I was glad to be able to replace the push button for both our toilets. But I did have to get help in unscrewing the ring to be able to remove the old push button from the tank lid because the ring had fused with the center portion of the push button mechanism. I wish they would last longer, but am happy to have new ones.

We used harsh cleaners on the toilet & the finish on the old flush button started to peel after about 3 years so I ordered a new one. It wasn’t too expensive, it arrived very quickly, it was easy to install, and it looks great again (like brand new). Thanks!
