Head of Brand and Product

Position Summary
This position is a strategic and creative leadership role responsible for driving Swiss Madison’s overall product vision and brand identity. The ideal candidate combines a visionary mindset with sharp business acumen, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of interior design, textiles, and brand styling.
The Head of Brand & Product is a management role accountable for leading four functions:
- Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Product Development
- Merchandising & Creative
- Quality Control & Assurance
This role is built for someone who has “done it before”—successfully scaled product and brand organizations within a high-growth consumer goods company.
Core Responsibilities
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) all direct reports aligned with EOS principles.
- Manage and grow the onshore and offshore team, while maintaining high-quality execution.
- Instill Swiss Madison’s core values—Ownership, Growth Mindset, Agility, Resourcefulness, Clarity—through team leadership and hiring.
Brand, Merchandising & Creative
- Define and evolve Swiss Madison’s brand vision across all customer touchpoints, ensuring consistency in messaging, design, and experience.
- Lead the development and execution of merchandising and content strategies that highlight product benefits and reinforce our values of design, quality, and affordability.
- Oversee brand assets—including style guides, graphic design, A+ content, and listings—to maintain a cohesive visual identity and tone of voice.
- Drive alignment between product styling, seasonal trends, and interior design principles to enhance emotional and aesthetic resonance with both end-users and professional buyers.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to integrate brand messaging into go-to-market plans, promotional efforts, and channel-specific execution across DTC, marketplaces, and wholesale.
Product Development
- Oversee new product development driven by data, customer insights, and market gaps.
- Guide sourcing, supplier evaluation, and tech pack creation through internal teams and third-party partnerships.
- Align with BI & Demand Planning teams to prioritize high-impact SKUs and lifecycle management.
Quality Control & Assurance
- Ensure adherence to Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) across all factories and shipments.
- Drive and standardize Engineering Change Request (ECR) processes.
- Finalize and operationalize a clear QC Vision that aligns with customer satisfaction and revenue targets.
Key Outcomes in First 12 Months
- Product Launch Framework institutionalized and used across all categories.
- Quality Control team fully integrated with clear SOPs and inspection workflows.
- Grow offshore team for support tasks across QC, sourcing, and creative
- Contribution margin improved via data-driven SKU evaluation and sunsetting process.
- Brand assets drive measurable performance gains in DTC and marketplaces.
What You Bring
- 4+ years leading cross-functional brand and product teams in a fast-paced, high-growth consumer environment.
- Track record of launching successful products and brands in eCommerce and wholesale channels.
- Proven ability to build systems and frameworks, not just manage existing ones.
- Experience leading offshore teams.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms common to merchandising, sourcing, QC, content, and analytics.
- EOS knowledge preferred—must be comfortable operating in a high-accountability, data-first, low-politics culture.

They will be accountable for building high-performing teams, implementing scalable growth systems, and ensuring consistent brand and customer experience across all channels. This role is designed for someone who has “done it before”—successfully scaling omni-channel consumer brands and delivering measurable growth in competitive markets.
Core Responsibilities
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) all direct reports aligned with EOS principles.
- Manage and grow the onshore and offshore team, while maintaining high-quality execution.

Channel Growth & Revenue Strategy
Direct to Consumer (Primary Focus in Year 1)
- Own and grow the SwissMadison.com P&L.
- Develop and execute acquisition, retention, and loyalty strategies.
- Optimize site performance, AOV, and conversion rates through data-drive CRO, UX enhancements, and merchandising strategies.
eCommerce Marketplaces
- Oversee Home Depot, Amazon, Wayfair, and other marketplace strategies to maximize profitable growth.
- Marketplace manager is already in place for execution.
Wholesale
- Partner with sales leadership to expand B@B customer base and grow existing accounts.
- Align trade promotions, merchandising, and launches with overall growth objectives.
Performance Marketing & Analytics
- Build and manage paid media strategies across channels with disciplined testing and ROI tracking.
- Oversee SEO, content marketing, and lifecycle marketing (email/SMS) programs.
- Implement attribution models and analytics dashboards to guide budget allocation and decision-making.
- Partner with Brand, Product, and Operations to ensure coordinated, high-impact execution.
Key Outcome in First 12 Months
- Significant DTC revenue growth with improved contribution margins.
- Repeatable acquisition and retention systems in place across all channels.
- Fully integrated growth dashboard with channel-specific KPIs and reporting cadence.
- Marketplace revenue increased through optimized content, pricing, and promotion strategies.
- Wholesale growth supported through targeted campaigns and improved account activation.
What You Bring
- 6+ years in growth, marketing, or revenue leadership roles for omni-channel consumer brands.

Proven track record of scaling DTC channels from mid- to high-seven or eight figures in revenue.

Experience and familiarity in marketplace and wholesale channel growth strategies.
- Data-driven decision-making skills with expertise in performance marketing, CRO, and eCommerce analytics.
- Strong LMA skills and familiarity with EOS or similar frameworks.
